Low Maintenance Garden

This landscaping project was in Upper Basildon, Berkshire. We were dealing with a small area at the front of the house. The customer was becoming annoyed mowing such a small plot, so all the grass was removed.  We then built an all new raised bed using sleepers and created steps at the side to allow access to the cars and garage. The bedded area had top soil added and then a membrane was put down to stop weed growth. To this, plum slate was added, along with some pebbles and boulders to give effect. We finished off the small garden design by bedding some plants supplied by the customer.
